The present invention relates to an augmented reality and Internet of Things supported environmental parameters monitoring system, comprising: an environment, said environment is a warehouse environment in which a plurality of food grain sacks stored; a plurality of wireless sensor nodes configured to measure and wirelessly transmit quality related parameters of the food grains; a plurality of central nodes configured to wirelessly receive the measured quality related parameters data from each nearby wireless sensor node, and transmit the received data; and master node wirelessly coupled to the central nodes configured to receive the measured quality related parameters data from the central nodes, and process the measured quality related parameters data to generate an alert text message. The alert text message being indicative of condition of food grains stored in the warehouse environment to enable remote monitoring.
